Optimizing Energy Use

As one of the leading electrical contractors of solar and wind projects in the country, we are doing our part to ensure our corporate offices integrate these technologies.

In 2006, we consolidated operations from three separate buildings into one corporate headquarters in order to better utilize space and energy. The building was constructed with motion-sensitive light switches in all offices to ensure the use of power only when workers are present.

Our 50kw, 100 ft tall wind turbine offsets our electricity needs at our corporate facility. Installed in the spring of 2009, the turbine is a green source of electrical power for our corporate headquarters, generating 40,000 kW of energy, enough to run the bulk of our office equipment. This year, we are in the process of erecting solar panels to continue to create sustainable power options.
